Increasing Inventory

Sorry it's been a while since I last updated my business blog...also busy with a newborn. But here are some photos of some recent inventory.
Here's my acorn matching game...the idea here is to allow your little ones to look at shapes and designs and match those together. My 2.5 yr. old son loves this game. He is also my research department and inspires me in many of my creations.

Natural teething ring for your wee ones. Tied with 100% organic hemp. Sealed with organic beeswax polish. My newborn loves it! You can also easily clip it on a bag or shirt so that it doesn't fall to the ground.
Here are some fun kitchen utensils that you can use. They've been sealed with beeswax polish as well to protect from bacteria. Easily cleans...just don't soak in water or use abrasive clean tools.
Tea Sets: flowers, leaves and berries. Pick your set and enjoy a spot of tea with your wee ones. I haven't made the actual tea pot yet but there is so much fun to be had with these 9 items.
 2 inch cups and bowls.
Let's go fishing...game with magnets. An awesome toy my son will hate to mail off. You can fish for colors or the shapes of their fins. 16 inch fishing pole comes with 6 colored fish and one awesome carrying bag.
Needle holders - fun and simple.
Here are some photos of me in action while burning with my niece and nephew and with my new machine.

Homemade Beeswax Polish

I have been thinking about making a natural, organic beeswax polish for some of my creations. It's toxic free and very good to seal some items that go into the mouth. Naturally babies and/or children put things in their mouths. So, to seal the wood and preserve the creation...I found a great homemade receipt.
I used a natural peppermint essential oil to add a little yummy smell to the beeswax.
I bought organic beeswax from a local bee farm. Here the heated combination is starting to cool...made inside a glass container for keeping.
And here is the finished product. It smells great and once the polish has set and is buffed, the natural turpentine is released and no longer in/on the product. I am excited to seal other products with this to preserve wood and keep harmful polishes out of my house. Who would have thought it was that easy?!?!
